Baked to order, in Yelahanka

Custom cakes from an FSSAI-registered home kitchen in Bangalore, pre-ordered a few days ahead and paid for when they reach you.

A home kitchen, not a factory

Bakemerize is Shraddha Shenoy, baking on pre-order from her own FSSAI-registered kitchen in Yelahanka. She is self-taught, and everything on this menu was worked out at home, one batch at a time.

Nothing is baked in advance and nothing sits in a display case. Your cake starts after you order it, which is why dates are booked a few days ahead.

More about the kitchen

How ordering works

Three steps, and no payment until the cake is in your hands.

  1. 1

    Choose your cake and size

Pick a flavour from the shop, then the size that suits your table. Say whether you want egg or eggless while you order.

  2. 2

Pick a date the kitchen can meet

Every cake needs a few days' notice. Each cake states its own on its page, and the date picker at checkout will not offer a day sooner than that.

  3. 3

Pay on delivery or at pickup

Nothing is charged on this site. Pay when the cake reaches you anywhere in Bangalore, or when you collect it in Yelahanka.

What custom means here

Every order is made for one occasion, so the menu is a starting point rather than a fixed list.

Egg or eggless
Whether a cake can be baked eggless is decided per cake, and each cake’s own page says which. A cake that can only be baked one way never offers the choice, so you cannot order a version the kitchen cannot make.
A message on the cake
Many cakes can carry a short message piped by hand, and each cake’s own page says whether it can. Send the exact wording with the order — spelling of names included — because it is written once, on the cake, on the morning it goes out.
Colours, tiers and design
Wedding cakes are worked out with you before anything is baked: flavour, number of tiers and the finish are agreed first.

Have something specific in mind?

Send a photo of what you are picturing, or just describe it. You will get back whether it can be baked, what it costs, and how much notice it needs.
